Activity’ objectives:
This toolkit proposes a way to articulate the moral and religious education with the issues of Global Citizenship, mobilising the young people to act.
Each unit has its own learning objectives.
Pupils’ learning competences (SUBJECT- specific) addressed: Specified in each unit.
Pupils’ learning competences (CGE) addressed: Value humanising and global dimensioni of education by promoting solidarity, peace, recognition of the other, justice, equality and care for the planet. It is an ethical and political proposal that conceives the human being an integral perspective (thinking, feeling and acting) based on the defense of human dignity, promote human rights, interdependence between the local and the global in interculturalism and the commitment to democracy and dialogue. - Progress toward a critical and dialogic approach of the learning process, which makes more flexible times and school spaces, which promotes reflection sites, establishing more democratic relations in the roles and relationships between educators / and the students / them. - Considers knowledge as a collective construction, valuing the knowledge of all involved the education act in a space that stimulates the diversity of ways of understanding reality.

Even if it is a resource for older students, it is important as example of curriculum integrazione of GCE, which is rare in Portugal.
