Policy makers, schools, NGOs, institutions and local authorities meet in Rome on May 15th to advocate for a national strategy on Global Citizenship Education.
Institutions, decision makers, non-governmental organizations, universities and educational institutions address the most sensitive and strategic issues related to Education for Global Citizenship (ECG). The ultimate goal is to develop a policy document and operational guidelines, to support a more just society moving from education.
The national seminar "Tracing Policies for Global Citizenship Education: Building a Policy to Promote Change" will be held in Rome on Monday 15 May 2017 from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the "Aldo Moro" Room – House of Deputies - Palazzo Montecitorio.
Global Citizenship Education is now also highly regarded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, which is preparing a document that, once completed, can draw the basic guidelines for the promotion of projects devoted to this theme.
HERE the provisional programme of the event, organised within the European project Global Schools .
Those who wish to participate are required to register by Tuesday, May 09, 2017 at this link
