New GCE-Educational Material on Plastic developed by Südwind, suitable for Children from 6 to 9 years
Within the „GLOBAL SCHOOLS Project“ the Austrian NGO Südwind developed educational material for primary schools (in German), treating the issue of plastic from different viewpoints.
The material includes teaching units on:
- How plastic is produced (with the example of rubber ducks)
- How different materials rot and why plastic nearly doesn't rot
- What kind of food packages are more or less sustainable
